I haven’t written here in a long time because life has taken me on a different path. While I still write, I am also pursuing my doctorate degree in special education. Plus, the pandemic. Additionally, I am now a new mom—a journey that took eight years to come to fruition. It has been difficult but well worth it for me and my partner. Parenthood isn’t for everyone and that is fine. It is also a choice each individual should be able to make for themselves.

In my writing life, I have several stories started but none completed, including more books in the Through Dreams and Doorways world. To those of you who read them, I thank you. I enjoyed writing them and plan to continue writing in the future—but it may be some time before I finish and publish anything.
